Prayer Circle for Animals Weekly Update
March 12, 2012

Our prayers for all animals continue to circle the earth, to uplift humanity's consciousness, and to bless the animals themselves. Thank you for joining people around the world who are praying this prayer in many different languages but all with the same love:

"COMPASSION ENCIRCLES THE EARTH FOR ALL BEINGS EVERYWHERE"

It helps so much to become aware of the many groups around the world that are working to elevate human consciousness toward animals. One of these groups is the Animal Kinship Committee of Orange Grove Friends Meeting. Each month, Editor Gracia Fay Ellwood, puts together a new issue of The Peaceable Table. This online journal "is intended for the mutual support, education, and inspiration of people of faith in the practice of love for our fellow animals and observance of a Peace-full diet."

The March issue is full of inspiration as always. Included are: an editorial linking the "pity" shown by Bilbo in Lord of the Rings that allowed him to possess the Ring without being destroyed by it and how that relates to our need for pity and compassion for animals; a lovely prayer "Purring in the Everlasting Arms;" a video of Ferdinand, a bull rescued from the bull ring, enjoying the company of his human friend; two book reviews, one of which is my review of The Exultant Ark by Jonathan Balcombe: and more.

Thank you for loving, for caring, and for being a powerful force of compassion in this world that needs you so much. We are growing in numbers every day. Together we can work miracles, and that is just what we're doing.

May all beings, including all people, be happy and free.

With Love, peace, and gratitude from Judy

Please visit the website www.circleofcompassion.org often to see updates and special prayers, and also to join in our "A prayer a day for animals" which features a prayer for a different group of animals each day of the week. It is also a place to send ideas or prayer requests.

Please forward this widely so that we may continue to add more people to our ever-expanding circle of compassion.
