UK ANNOUNCES END TO ANIMAL CIRCUSES

Gratitude, celebration, rejoicing is in order this week as we dance to the news that the UK has announced that it is banning all wild animal acts in circuses. By doing this they join other European nations, including Austria, Greece, Croatia, Bosnia and Hezegovnia. The RSPCA, Born Free Foundation, British Veterinary Association, and Captive Animals Protections Society worked on the UK campaign. RSPCA and Born Free will help find sanctuaries for the animals.

Other countries have also banned the use of wild animals in circuses, along with at least 55 communities in the U.S.

PRAYERS OF GRATITUDE AND FOR SAFE HOMES FOR THE ANIMALS

This week let us send prayers and thoughts of gratitude to all the people who have worked so tirelessly on this campaign and to the many other campaigns that are still ongoing. Let us pray and visualize each former circus animal finding a quiet, peaceful and safe home where they will never again be forced to be on display or do demeaning tricks for thoughtless spectators. And let us visualize those “thoughtless” circus-goers being awakened and filled by true thoughts, by empathy for the animals they are watching, and by a burning desire to help end their suffering by taking action to end the business of animal circuses worldwide.

VISUALIZING THE NEW WORLDVIEW AND THE END OF DOMINATION

Animal circuses are a dramatic and heart-rending demonstration of humanity’s antiquated and now eroding belief that human beings are here to dominate and exploit all creation. They bring that mindset to its full expression. As always the core of our prayers and focused thoughts is the knowing in our hearts that the worldview of domination really is eroding away as more and more people come to understand the sacredness and interconnectedness of all life.

This is happening because of your Actions and your Prayers and those of millions of others, including the animals themselves.

Thank you for your faithful prayers and visionary thoughts. Thanks to all of you, compassion is encircling the earth for all beings. Thank you for your devotion to truth, love, liberation and peace for all beings.
