Prayer Circle for Animals Weekly Update from Judy Carman
March 16, 2015
Our prayers for all animals continue to circle the earth, to
uplift humanity's consciousness, and to bless the animals themselves.
Thank you for joining people around the world who are praying this
prayer in many different languages but all with the same love:
"COMPASSION ENCIRCLES THE EARTH FOR ALL BEINGS EVERYWHERE"
Prayer Request Received from Pam:
Pam, like so many of you, has been helping animals all her life. “Their
suffering,” she wrote, “is as close to me as my own breath and they are
never far from my mind.” I know we can all relate. That is why we
do what we do. She asked us for a “prayer for the animals
of Southeast Asia, especially the dogs and cats of China where they are
being cooked alive. Also prayers in Eastern Europe where dogs and cats
are being beaten to death and some incinerated alive in traveling
incinerators. I live with these images daily and have been for many
many years as I work among thousands of others to stop it.” Dogs
and cats are also being eaten on Maui and many other places around the
world, and, as we know, a lot of fur trim on clothing is dog and cat
fur. In a previous update, we spoke of animals, and especially
“companion” animals, as “guardians of being” in Eckhart Tolle’s words.
We know so little about what goes on at the soul level, but anyone who
has had a dog or cat friend knows that they spend a great deal of time
taking care of us on all levels—body, mind, and spirit. And yet
so many suffer around the world without being given a shred of
gratitude or respect.
There is a Native American legend
about Dog. Long ago people and animals lived together in
peace, but over time, the people became more and more violent and
destructive until one day the animals decided to separate themselves
permanently from all humanity. A great earthquake caused a split
in the earth. The animals stayed on one side while the people
were on the other. Just as the split was getting almost too wide
to jump across, Dog leaped over to the human beings. “Why did you
do that?” cried the animals from the other side. “Because,” Dog
replied, “they cannot survive without me.”
Prayer This Week for Dogs and Cats:
Dear and precious dog and cat friends, so many times throughout
history, you have laid down your lives for us, healed us, comforted us,
and let us know we were not alone. Yet, in spite of that, so many
of you are still suffering in the hands of people who do not understand
who you really are. This week our prayers and our love ascend
from all of us in this Prayer Circle to you—each one of you. We
ask for guidance and strength to keep teaching and working and speaking
on your behalf and to know the best possible ways to bring a final end
to all cruelty and violence toward you. We give thanks that you
are here on this earth with us, and we give thanks for all that you
have taught us about unconditional love and forgiveness. We see a time
coming very soon when all human beings will love and respect you as we
do. It will be a time when human beings finally understand that
you are our sacred brothers and sisters, and we will live in peace
together. Know deep in your hearts that we will not give up. On
the soul level, we are opening all your cages and holding you in our
arms right now and for as long as it
takes.
As always, with tears of gratitude, I send my thanks to each of you,
dear Prayer Circle members, for joining this circle of compassion and
shining the Light of Truth for all to see, so that one day soon, all
beings will live in peace together.
May compassion and love reign over all the earth for all beings
everywhere.
Thank you all for your devotion to truth, love, liberation and peace
for all beings.
With Love, peace, and gratitude from Judy Carman, and greetings from
Will, Madeleine, Tara and the Circle of Compassion team
