Prayer Circle for Animals Weekly Update from Judy Carman
May 18, 2015

Our prayers for all animals continue to circle the earth, to uplift humanity's consciousness, and to bless the animals themselves. Thank you for joining people around the world who are praying this prayer in many different languages but all with the same love:

"COMPASSION ENCIRCLES THE EARTH FOR ALL BEINGS EVERYWHERE"

Greetings of love and gratitude from Judy Carman

Nearly 100,000, sometimes a million, birds are destroyed or are dying of bird flu every day in the U.S., according to a recent New York Times article.  The Center Fresh Group, a giant egg producing company is killing 5 ½ million hens in 26 barns in Iowa.  Over 40% of Iowa hens are dead or dying. Since December 33 million turkeys, ducks and chickens in 15 states have been killed by the flu or by horribly cruel methods, such as gas, foam, or fire. Some barns have as many as half a million birds in cages stacked on top of each other. No one can deny that the obvious overcrowding allows avian flu to spread so quickly. Yet Big Ag is simply working to clean up and “repopulate.” Unbelievably eggs from hens waiting to be killed will still be stolen from them and go into food products after an “extra pasteurization step.”   Mexico, Japan, and China refuse to import U.S. poultry products.  Meanwhile, some of our tax money is being given to these companies to help them kill and dispose of these suffering birds.
The Times article sympathizes with consumers whose prices will go up, bank lenders, trucking companies, feed growers, farmers, and chick breeders (some of whom sell 250,000 day old orphan chicks per week—after killing an equal number of male chicks). Yet there is not a word of sympathy for the birds.

A Prayer, a Heart-Longing Plea for the Liberation of all chickens, ducks, and turkeys.  I used to eat eggs.  I am reminding myself of that as I write this.  Until I learned the truth about eggs, I helped create this monstrous, barbaric industry. It is hard to face sometimes that we are part of the species that has caused this violent, soul shattering domination of so many beings. But we awakened, and that means others can too. With hearts full of compassion we focus our thoughts on this—that people everywhere will hear the stories about bird flu and suddenly wake up to the reality of what we human beings and the agricultural corporations have done to these precious birds.  May the intense and overwhelming shame of what we have done grow into an immovable, unalterable, universal declaration to completely and forever end the demand for even one egg.  Let us see the hundreds of poultry prisons where millions have died, be transformed from places of horror and torture to places of beauty, peace and sanctuary. May the chick breeders, farmers, feed growers, and truckers find work that brings healing, harmony, and joy into their lives.  May their lives be free from all violence; may all people be vegan; and may all chickens, turkeys, and ducks be free forever.  And when this war against these innocent birds is over, may everyone declare together—“Never Again!” Love goes with us and brings our vision, our hopes, and our prayers into manifestation now.

As always, with tears of gratitude, I send my thanks to each of you, dear Prayer Circle members, for joining this circle of compassion and shining the Light of Truth for all to see, so that one day soon, all beings will live in peace together.

May compassion and love reign over all the earth for all beings everywhere.
Thank you all for your devotion to truth, love, liberation and peace for all beings.
With Love, peace, and gratitude from Judy Carman, and greetings from Will, Madeleine, Tara and the Circle of Compassion team
