Prayer Circle for Animals Weekly Update from Judy Carman
July 6, 2015

Our prayers for all animals continue to circle the earth, to uplift humanity's consciousness, and to bless the animals themselves. Thank you for joining people around the world who are praying this prayer in many different languages but all with the same love:

"COMPASSION ENCIRCLES THE EARTH FOR ALL BEINGS EVERYWHERE"

Greetings of love and gratitude from Judy Carman

Good News for Animals in Quebec and for the Evolution of Human Consciousness and Conscience: On June 4, the CBC News announced that “Animals in Quebec will be considered ‘sentient beings’ instead of property…” under a proposed bill. Agriculture Minister Pierre Paradis’ legislation includes fines of up to $250,000 for animal cruelty and imprisonment for repeat offenders. According to the article, “Paradis said the bill will put Quebec more in line with Manitoba, Ontario and British Columbia….” The revolutionary aspect of the bill is that it states that “animals are not things. They are sentient beings and have biological needs."  It would apply, not only to pets, but also to domesticated farmed animals and some wild animals. Under the bill, inspectors would have authority, with “reasonable cause,” to obtain a warrant, enter private property and seize animals who are being mistreated.

Prayer for the Week that these radical words--ANIMALS ARE NOT THINGS—will be heard around the world.  There is more power in words and thoughts than we can fathom. These words, although self-evident to us, are revolutionary to our current society.  This week, let us speak them, sing them, pray them, and share them in every possible way.  Let us hold in our hearts the clear and bright vision of the emerging human consciousness of love and reverence for all life.  More and more people are beginning to understand that the “thingness” of animals has been wrongfully programmed into their minds. We give thanks for Paradis’s courage and for the courage of all human beings who are currently questioning useless and cruel cultural programs.  It may not be a coincidence that his name so closely resembles the very paradise we seek for all beings.  We give thanks for this beautiful ray of hope, and from our hearts we send it out to all the animals of earth.  Every day, dear animals, there are more of us, telling the world who you really are and joining the fight for your freedom.

As always, with tears of gratitude, I send my thanks to each of you, dear Prayer Circle members, for joining this circle of compassion and shining the Light of Truth for all to see, so that one day soon, all beings will live in peace together.

May compassion and love reign over all the earth for all beings everywhere.
Thank you all for your devotion to truth, love, liberation and peace for all beings.
With Love, peace, and gratitude from Judy Carman, and greetings from Will, Madeleine, Tara and the Circle of Compassion team
