Prayer Circle for Animals Weekly Update from Judy Carman
October 26, 2015

Our prayers for all animals continue to circle the earth, to uplift humanity's consciousness, and to bless the animals themselves. Thank you for joining people around the world who are praying this prayer in many different languages but all with the same love:

"COMPASSION ENCIRCLES THE EARTH FOR ALL BEINGS EVERYWHERE"

Greetings of love and gratitude from Judy Carman

Three Injured Elephants knew where to go for help—but how? In Defense of Animals reports that in Kenya last August, poachers  tried to kill three bull elephants with poison arrows.. IDA writes, “Amazingly, the three elephants knew just where to go for safety and help. They made their way to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, the most successful elephant and rhino orphan Rescue and Rehab Center in the world.”  Dame Daphne Sheldrick, along with her late husband David, have successfully rehabilitated and released many orphan elephants back into wild herds. But how did the three injured elephants know to go there?  They had never lived at the orphanage.  The only connection was that one of the three bulls had mated with two lady elephants who had been rehabilitated and released from the Center.  And they are not the only ones seeking help there.  According to the Wildlife Trust, "All the injured bulls come here when in need, knowing they will get the help and treatment they need."

This week let us tell their story and pray for all human hearts to become sanctuaries.  We give thanks for the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, the care they have given to so many orphaned and injured elephants, and for the message they bring to people and to animals.  These elephants “knew” which people would help and which ones would do harm.  This is a mystery that, even though we cannot understand it, we can be wonderfully inspired by it.  In our prayers and focused thoughts this week, let us SEE this Divine Mystery taking place among all animals as they call out for help and protection from the human beings who are exploiting and killing them.  And let us also SEE these very human beings hearing the cries for help deep in their souls.  They try not to hear the cries, but the ripples of pain and suffering we are causing the animals are becoming so much louder and harder to ignore.  Human beings and our animal relatives are connected in ways that cause us all to feel, hear, and know each other’s pain and joy.  Souls are awakening; human hearts are opening to these cries for help. May all human hearts become sanctuaries of love, compassion, and nonviolence for all beings.  We know this can happen, because love is the most powerful force in the universe.
As always, with tears of gratitude, I send my thanks to each of you, dear Prayer Circle members, for joining this circle of compassion and shining the Light of Truth for all to see, so that one day soon, all beings will live in peace together.

May compassion and love reign over all the earth for all beings everywhere.
Thank you all for your devotion to truth, love, liberation and peace for all beings.
With Love, peace, and gratitude from Judy Carman, and greetings from Will, Madeleine, Tara and the Circle of Compassion team
