Our prayers for all animals continue to circle the earth, to
uplift humanity's consciousness, and to bless the animals themselves.
Thank you for joining people around the world who are praying this
prayer in many different languages but all with the same love:
"COMPASSION ENCIRCLES THE EARTH FOR ALL BEINGS EVERYWHERE"
Living “AS IF”
As we live among those who have not yet made a vow of ahimsa, our
presence may irritate them on the surface of their emotions. But
their spirits which are made of love are witness to the clear and
present fact that people can live by doing the most good and the least
harm. We demonstrate that way of living as best we can. Of
course we are not perfect, but by being joyful vegans, we are scouting
out the trail ahead and returning to say—‘yes, the world we envision is
real and possible and beautiful.’ We are living “As If” it is
already here among us. That benevolent world in which we live in
harmony and together with all life is Love, and there is nothing more
real than that in all the universe.
Blazing the Trail; “Seeing” the
Ahimsa World
This week, let us walk the trail up ahead and see what that beautiful,
loving world looks like. Let us see ahead of us fields and
forests filled with animals who no longer fear us. Cows, horses,
pigs, goats, chickens, and animals of the wilderness are caring
for their families. Babies are running and jumping and playing
with each other. Mothers and fathers are peacefully watching over
their youngsters. The streams and rivers we find along the trail
are clear and clean. The air is filled with the scent of sage and
pine. The sky is a deep blue, and all that we see ahead of us is
healed and once again in balance. Our hearts fill with joy at the
sight, and tears well up at the wonder of it all.
Prayer for Strength and Wisdom
We give thanks for this vision that we are so blessed to see, and we
ask for strength and wisdom and support to share this Truth and this
Hope with the world that waits so longingly for it. And we ask
that the animals be filled with a deep knowing that true liberation is
up ahead.
